The Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD) Germany and the Scottish education organization Time for Inclusive Education (TIE) partnered internationally to create the Digital Discourse Initiative, which attempts to address issues of online hate and disinformation, such as racism, sexism, and anti-LGBT prejudice, as identified by ISD research. Teens who helped create the initiative have voiced concerns about the “normalization and minimization” of internet hate. The project provides instructional modules on subjects including social media usage, online hatred, radicalization, and misinformation prevention in order to combat this expanding problem. The program is accessible through the Digital Discourse website and is free for all teachers in Scotland.https://www.isdglobal.org/isd-in-the-news/isd-tie-launch-new-educational-tool-to-combat-online-hate-disinformation-in-scotland/Share this:FacebookXLike this:Like Loading...
