Both men and women are harmed by misogynistic internet postings. Accelerating global progress toward gender equality is UN Women’s mission. In order to do this, we collaborate with partners to challenge gender stereotypes that affect boys and men in addition to advocating for the safety, empowerment, and rights of all women and girls. We are resisting online harassment and the violence it encourages in the real world by speaking out against toxic masculinity.
