According to a recent Ministry of Communications and Information (MCI) survey, 17% of youths between the ages of 13 and 18 who play online video games have been the victim of in-game bullying by other players. However, nearly half (48%) of those who reported being bullied in-game did nothing about it. Merely 8% of the participants told their parents about the encounter. The results of a door-to-door survey that was carried out between October 2022 and February 2023 were obtained. The study, according to the ministry, was intended to learn more about young people’s gaming habits as well as parents’ awareness of and attempts to mitigate the negative effects of gaming on their children’s well-being.https://www.todayonline.com/singapore/1-5-youths-experienced-bullying-online-games-small-minority-tell-their-parents-about-it-mci-survey-2361831Share this:FacebookXLike this:Like Loading...
