Numerous definitions of hate speech have been proposed by national, regional, and worldwide organizations as a result of the lack of a widely agreed-upon definition. As a result, several remedies and strategies have been developed against hate speech by governments, judges, and policy makers worldwide. The experts in this webinar discuss the current patterns and procedures used by national, international, and regional institutions to deal with hate speech. It also covers hate speech issues by generally defined themes, such as antisemitism and denial of the Holocaust, hate speech related to ethnic and religious groups, and sexual orientation, among others. The findings of the CGFoE-published Special Collection Paper on the Case Law on Hate Speech will be presented during this webinar.
