The study is divided into two sections: the first offers a broad overview of the topic and aims to define hate speech precisely, highlighting its increasing significance in today’s social dynamics. The second section examines the European regulatory framework and values, paying special attention to the civil law remedies available in the Italian legal system to stop the spread of hate speech online.
