The thoroughness of the study and its emphasis on social media platforms as a public forum and a haven for hate speech are two of the main ways that this project differs from our earlier work. The transactional model of communication at work, where hate speech is frequently impulsive and undirected yet extremely damaging, has been exposed by the data gathered from the comment sections of Facebook and YouTube posts. Our awareness of the necessity for media organizations to be accountable for both their content and the conversations that result from it has improved as a result of this. Our strategy has also been enhanced and made more comprehensive by the addition of focus group talks and interviews with media professionals and gender specialists. Stakeholder awareness has grown, and discussions on the significance of policing hate speech—particularly in media-driven online environments—have become more targeted. https://epd.eu/news-publications/from-research-to-action-evidence-based-strategies-to-combat-online-hate-speech-against-women-in-armenia/ Share this: Click to print (Opens in new window) Print Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window) LinkedIn Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Reddit Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window) WhatsApp Click to share on Bluesky (Opens in new window) Bluesky Click to email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email Like this:Like Loading...
